Sierra did a phenomenal job improving Riley’s ability to listen to commands. She even got him comfortable with being groomed!! It turns out she had to train me more than Riley – I was enabling his poor choices. We can now go for off leash walks, he comes when called 100% of the time and no longer runs out the door. I didn’t think it was possible to love my dog more than I did, but now that my relationship with Riley has improved, I am no longer frustrated with him and can truly just enjoy him!
I am not sure I would have been able to keep my dog without Sierra! I sent her my 7 month golden retriever, Atticus for a 4 week board & train. At the time, Atticus was very difficult to control and known to lunge and bite. Not only did she help shape his basic obedience and training endurance, but she taught me how to approach my relationship with my dog and meet him at his level. More than 6 months later, I have a happy and healthy dog who I am genuinely able to enjoy. Sierra has helped us every step of the way through set backs and new ventures since Atti came home. Today Atticus is training to be a psychiatric service dog, which I would have never imagined to be in his future.
